| I would like to see some
views about the bil sao and the use of it.The way i am taught it is
used to block or jam a circular punch going to the head. But if you
are mistaken and the punch goes a few inches down you are open to
the attack. The problem becomes more apparent in another technique we
practice using bil sao+high pak sao (above the bil sao) to block the
same punch where in addition to the previous you lose your guarding
hand as well if the punch lands a little lower. We use it in the lop
sao too when the parner sends circular punch to the head(and garn
sao if the punch goes to the body). So here is one more question.Does
lop sao has variation with circular punches or is ours
modified? | |
