Sifu, According to Leung ting and and even Yip man's Son, they claim Yip Man did conceal the correct forms of the art and what everyone else knows except for a chosen few is simply a modified version which Yip man had learned at first, also from Wah Shun Leung, since Wah shun did not want to have anyone else to excel outside his two sons. Considering the Chinese tradition of passing things on to their next of Kin or keeping things within family or someone deem worthy, do you think there is any validity to the claim. What are your views on this, or do you feel it doesn't even matter? As an added note, it is said too by them that even Yip man with his modified form, before Bik, still excelled as a wing chun exponent in many fights and to some degree was formadable to Shan's two sons.

Let me just say, I know your a true gentleman and that you don't like to speak against anyone but if you have any opinions about this issue without stepping on anyone as well, it might help to dispell much of the rival anymosities prevelant among the various wing chun families that exist today probably due to this claim.
