Dear all,
Is it possible for some one to tell me the reasons why most of the modern day wing chun practitioners today, who added techniques from other styles to wing chun fail to improve the efficient of wing chun. Instead of improving it, they actually degraded it into a less efficent fighting art! While most of the wing chun masters in the past could?
Is it because the past wing chun masters have a lot of free time and devotion in their hands? They are willing to experience and test out their ideas in real life situations than the sport orientated practitioners we got today?

(I am not suggesting you to pick a fight in order to prove your fighting skill. You will most likely be arrested for breaking the law and put into prison.)

Thank you
Hitman
