Master Leung:
You seem by your
words to be an open minded martial artists and said you have
praticed Hung Gar before studying Wing Chun.
I am just
wondering what attracted you to wing chun? I mean there were many
styles to choose from in Hong Kong and if there were all good
according to you, then what made you think yup wing chun is for me?
I was just curious to know more about your mindset at that
time period. I have noticed that even tho wing chun students in hong
kong didnt have to fight western boxers and/or kick boxers, your
wing chun does have some techniques against these kinds of attacks.
Did Yip Man teach you these techniques or did you use your own
concepts learned from Yip Man to create these techniques?
My
friend of mine who is also a JKD student said true Muay Thai kick
boxers had pretty powerful kicks and steel like shins and that your
techniques would not work against. I am just wondering does your
technique work against
them?
